The Unterberg mountain offers a unique mountain panorama. It is an especially well-known region for cross-country flying and adored by paragliders. The ascend begins to the take off area with a comfortable gondola ride. Once you arrive, you can simply enjoy the magnificent views of numerous peaks like the famous mount Wilder Kaiser.

Physical requirements:
Tandem paragliders allow a weight range for passengers to be anywhere from 15 kg to 125 kg. There is no age limit and we have experience flying young children from age 6 as well as senior citizens. Physical fitness is of course an advantage but not a requirement. If there are any uncertainties that arise, please feel free to discuss them with us. We're happy to assist you with any questions you may have.
Important Information:
Depending on your wishes, your tandem pilot can make the flight calmer or more action packed.
Weather:
Paragliding is only possible in good weather conditions. Therefore exact appointment 2-3 days by phone in advance.
Duration:
The trip takes about 2 hours in total. Your flying time depends on the wind conditions and thermals and can last between 15-30 minutes.

Price information:
Price valid per person. Ticket for the cable car is not included in the price (approx. 13 EUR). Photo and video service is bookable on spot, you can watch them after your flight and decide if you want to buy them, to be paid on spot.
Group size:
Yes, through cooperation with only local tandem pilots several people (up to 8) can fly at the same time. Whether a couple flight or group event - we can tailor a tailor-made package for you!
Spectators:
Family and friends can watch you become airborne and take pictures at the take off, or they can wait for you at the landing field, both options are possible. The area around Schmittenhöhe Mountain is perfect for hiking and offers a restaurant on top. This is the perfect place to take a picture before take off.
Equipment / clothing:
We recommend wearing hiking boots, pants and a jacket for your flight. Depending on the weather conditions, you may also want to bring a pair of gloves with you.
